Much like ASpeed Pass©@ or similar electronic tolling packages, a transponder permanently installed on the underside of a HPR compliant vehicle could discretely allow law enforcement personnel access to secure information regarding criminal movements. Additionally, a parent, for example, with a discrete code, could monitor the progress of a child operating his or her HPR vehicle on the Grid. For privacy purposes the location and history of an HPR vehicles movement would not be disclosed without proper judicial process or parental request (applying only to HPR drivers under 18 years of age).
